"Ridiculous just how lovely this park and the Emerald Necklace trail system is while located right in the middle of a major metropolitan city. The paths are well designed, kept very clean and super photogenic in low autumn sunshine. Truly lovely. Great for walkers, runners, dogs and cyclists. Highly recommend."
"I love everything about this beautiful paradise, hidden away from the nasty rat race I deal with every day . People are really getting distracted from what really matters out there. Technology is not the answer. Mother Earth and her many wonderful woodlands and oceans provide more than enough for us , meaning people. It's disgusting watching how selfish and narrow minded we have become. I stopped looking at pointless social media fakeness post , and also canceled my cable provider. I'm starting to realize now that the media will be the end of civilization and possibly humanity. I'm not preaching or trying to convince anyone I'm right, but just try to stop caring about tv and cell phones. It helped me so much."
"Beautiful outdoor space to bike ride, walk and take your dog. I highly recommend visiting this area and enjoy the scenery and the beautiful architecture of the surrounding homes"
"Running and dog walking through Olmsted Park is a dream. It connects to the others parks that make up the emerald necklace and includes paved and unpaved trails. The best time to visit in the fall when the leaves start changing. Hardly a need to leave the city to enjoy the foliage when Olmsted is your backyard!"
"A lovely park with a walking trail and a pond. There were a lot of geese and ducks. A beautifully tranquil nature spot right in the heart of the city. You can find nearby granite stairs tucked away throughout the park. The trails are only for hiking, and dogs are welcome. Mountain biking is prohibited. It is about a 20-minute walk to Jamaica Pond, so you can see both sights in one day. I would not recommend walking at night because there are no lights."
