Reviews
"This is a fun, small museum tucked away on the Amherst College campus. Parking seems funny as you navigate narrow campus streets. The museum is free. There are a mix of rocks and minerals and fossils and lots of dinosaur tracks. Much of the exhibit is focused on the local geologic history and dinosaurs. Most of the tracks were found locally. It is great for kids and interesting for adults too."
"While touring colleges in the 5 Institute coalition in the Amherst/Northampton, MA area, we walked this museum at Amherst College. We were really impressed with the information and exhibits on display!"
"Small but fun place to see and learn about older and modern animals and creatures that once walked the earth. They have gem collections, sculptures, huge fossils and many other things. Staff are so friendly and informative. Footprints you can interact with. It's free so you can come in and explore."
