"I have ordered salads a couple of times from here in the past with no problem. 2 months ago I received a bad salad with visibly old ingredients including browned lettuce, browned avocado to the center (no green) and soggy tortilla chips and thought it was just a bad day. I re ordered a salad 2 months later and the same browned soggy ingredients. Except the corn was disgustingly slimy and bruised. I am not a cheap person and am willing to pay money for a good salad when it’s worth it. Advice: Refresh your salads daily."
"Second visit to WF. We actually went out of our way to drive here and left feeling hungry and disappointed. The smoothies were good - no complaints there. However, I find the wait time for food to be egregious and the service to be continually lacking. We weren’t greeted when we walked up to view the menu and that felt super uncomfortable? I got a salad and upon first bite found my bowl riddled with brown, slimy lettuce. It felt impossible to finish after that so i just threw it away. I was honestly shocked that they would serve me some of the pieces of lettuce I found in my bowl. Lastly, for a Saturday morning, playing modern hip hop with an aggressive beat was such a miss. Impossible to relax and enjoy. I love hip hop, but that absolutely destroyed the atmosphere."
"Highly recommend. I've become a weekly regular for take-out orders here - I get a wrap (Thanksgiving is my fave), a smoothie bowl, and a salad (Southwestern is great) every time and they are always fantastic. The salad greens and veggie toppings are always super fresh, and they are a fast and convenient choice if you are looking for healthy options. Also, worth mentioning that the staff is super diligent with allergies. I have to modify my favorite wrap because I have a dairy allergy. I understand and expect mistakes to happen when I eat out, but Wayland Fresh has never made a mistake on my numerous orders which is awesome and keeps me coming back for more!"
"Don't eat here!!! Major national food, safety, guideline, violations!!!! Managers confrontational, 14 years in the industry, and Teaching national food safe course... they blocked off, access to the hallway leading to public restroom which is mandatory that they allow access to when there is dining and sit down option..... they also had approximately an eight year old walking around the kitchen with no national food safe gear no hat or gloves grabbing food from the walk-in bring it to the front and the manager tried to tell me it's okay as there's no grill or frier in the kitchen. This is false no one under the age of 18 and only with consent of a parent may work in a kitchen..... there is no other way around it....."
"Nice and clean establishment. I ordered an Island Fresh and it was good. My only concern is when I payed with my card the machine is defaulted to give an 18% tip which I did not catch until after I authorized the payment. I find that a little deceptive especially when the receipt doesn’t give you the grand total of what you paid. I also find it a little redundant because there is a tip box as well in front of register. I am not against tipping. I’ve worked in food service for more than 10 years. I lived on it, but I earned it on hard effective work and not from a default setting. I just think that setting should change on the machine. Ultimately it’s not too big a deal. I didn’t expect to tip since it was my first time there and wanted to try it out. If I was a repeat customer and developed a good rapport with servers I then would be very much willing to tip. I love good service."
