"was nostalgic for southall, london so i came here and was soooo happy i did. got dosa (my obsession at this point), some grilled chicken, and gulab jamun. very cozy and filling, and so affordable (!!!) server was hospitable and kind, we made great convo about his home country and his time in rhode island. great family business to dine in or take out. across the street is "not just spices" with great ingredients you can't find in major rhode island grocers. love the creativity in the names."

"I had to go the restaurant for pickup some food. While waiting I thought of trying the samosas, rolls and some dry stuff so I got one each. When I started eating them they were super OLD and super stale that I had to chew them so hard. They are supposed to be fresh and crunchy. I asked the guy who was honest enough to tell me they were from yesterday or maybe older. I had placed another to go order so I asked the girl at checkout to replace them with fresh ones if she has or just give me something fresh instead she rudely answered I cannot do anything thats it."

"I love the authentic, non-pretentious vibe of this place. You walk in and there is a counter with quick bites and packaged Indian treats in a clean but weathered deli case. You can be seated but they are briefed for rapid to-go foods. I'm a fan of the Seder-esque plating of the food in the little tin compartments, my girlfriend loves the little Jalebi it includes. I had a delicious tikka masala, it was on the spicer side rather than sweet. I appreciated the distinct gluten free options! Next time I will have to try the salted lassi. Food was of great quality and very well priced (((cash only))), wish there was something like this back home."
