"Regardless of what they say this campground does not accommodate large rigs well at all. The roads are narrow and full of protruding trees and bushes waiting to scratch your sides. The turns are tight and if you want a spot that won’t ruin your rig you best become a seasonal member since the only few spots for temporary campers are very tight. False advertising. They should have at least been up front with customers about the condition of the roads and sites since they take your rig information."
"We liked the location due to it's proximity to Salisbury beach, and it's also a short drive to Hampton Beach. However this camp ground is near the marsh and the Miskito population is off the hook. The trailer sites and tent sites are nice. Just make sure to bring plenty of bug repellent"
"Good location. Staff was pleasant. Lots of shade under the trees. Sites are very cramped, your water and electricity are in your neighbors site, meaning their W/E are in your site. Tricky for bigger rigs to maneuver. The dumping station is not convenient to use. Full time sites not kept up but the people were nice."
"We went in late July for 2 nights of tent camping. Our campsite was clean, had its own picnic table and fire pit. The 2 ladies at the check-in office/store that we dealt with, Ginger and Cheryl, were friendly and accommodating. The bathrooms/showers were clean, and the water did get nice and hot. The water pressure wasn’t great, but this is a campsite. We weren’t expecting luxury! The only thing that was bothersome was the mosquitoes! Holy cow were they vicious! That’s just due to the time of year and muggy weather. Be prepared with your bug spray and proper netting around your area! Nevertheless, we were comfortable, since we had packed the bug gear and set up our site appropriately. We would certainly return next summer! The price is great, and the staff and neighbors were a polite friendly community."
"STAY AWAY !!! Me and my husband stayed here for a few nights with our kids. We have traveled all over the country and have stayed at many campgrounds. Pines is probably the nastiest place we have ever stayed. Campground is dirty with trash and debris everywhere. Dirty pool and run down play area for kids. Seasonal campers drinking and doing drugs right out in the open. This place is more like a dirty trailer park then a campground. Owners are rude and arrogant could care less about your stay all they want is your money. Police were called twice for issues with campers not called by us. Definitely not a place you feel safe. The reviews on this place speak for themselves save your money and stay somewhere else."
