"I hate writing bad reviews of places, especially when the people that were there were so nice, but this place is just outdated. I got a mani and pedi for 45, which is a bargain, but it wasn't great quality. The pedicure: my feet sat in a lukewarm water (no lining, no soap, no salts, just plain water and a jet - it didn't feel clean) and she forgot to exfoliate one of my feet. I didn't say anything though.... But the foot she did exfoliate it was a quick job. My feet don't feel moisturized and soft like after normal pedicures. Then she had me walk over to the manicure station with no slippers or anything, so barefoot on the carpet. The manicure was fine standard, but she missed clipping clear hangnails. Overall the mani / pedi work was fine.... but I felt like I could of had a friend do it for the same level. In the photo of my feet I have a bruised toenail, but she missed the edging of the nail, giving it now a grimey look. Overall just not impressed. I would more come here for a quick color change, not an "experience.""

"I wanted to like this place. I REALLY did. But my gel manicure started chipping and peeling away after TWO DAYS. The pair that run it are absolutely lovely people but I'd be lying if I said the application of the manicure was neat to begin with. I'm really really sorry I had to write this, but I had to be honest. I won't be coming back."

"Not only is Diane highly skilled at doing nails, she is also the most amazingly welcoming person, and is really a pleasure to chat with. She and her husband have owned and worked at this salon for the past three decades and it definitely shows! What a great find in Ball Square!! Definitely recommend getting your nails done here."

"A wonderful naill salon run by the sweetest couple! They REALLY care about their customers!!! During the times I have gone there I have seen the husband, Tommy, fill people's meters so they didn't get a parking ticket while they were in there; Diane makes sure your nails are perfect and remembers everyone's name; they even gave a girl a ride to her class at Tufts once so she wouldn't be late. People that aren't even getting their nails done wave or say hi as they walk by. Better to spend money somewhere you know you're helping a family put food on the table. And of course they do a great job on your nails or toes!"
