"I came here from a distance because I was gifted a gift card here. Gift cards are valid for 7 years in MA so I had no way of knowing there would be an issue. I was told that they won’t take my gift card because they are new owners and they have no way to know the amount on the card. The gift card has the same exact name of the business, and the same address. How would a customer know they can’t use a gift card? They wouldn’t! This is really bad to do to customers, as the previous owners took money and I cannot render any services. Money lost. While I don’t believe a new business is required to honor the liabilities of an old business, it would have been in good faith to do something- even a discount. I told them I came from far because I thought I was using my gift card. They didn’t care. I was upset the whole time. Definitely not coming back, which is sad because I used to go here a lot when it was Tri Zen."
