Pro Nails

"I have been here about 6 times. Only one time was good. The last 5 times I went, my appointment is always dismissed and I am waiting. Recently, I called, booked an appt, and arrived a few mins early. I mentioned my appt and then sat for 20 minutes. As I gather my things to leave, I am told to wait five more minutes. You have already put me 30 minutes behind in my afternoon, so I had to decline. People do not book appointments ahead of time for no reason. So disappointing that I kept giving them a chance as they are down the street. Unfortunately, I will not be back."

"Normally my experience is good. However I went in on Friday afternoon and had a nail tech that use to be over Milan nails, and she is always in a rush. I was hoping for a better experience with her, but she was in the middle of doing my nails and stopped to go on her phone for 5 minutes. I wasn’t in the middle of drying or anything. She then proceeded to rush my drying process. Normally you put your nails in for two drys for gel and she wouldn’t let me kept making me take my hand out and giving attitude if I wanted to dry them more. My nails peeled within four days. Typically my gel can stay for three weeks with no chipping. She had such a bad attitude when I was leaving as well she snatched the receipt out of my hand and when I said thank you she walked away. Such a bad experience this day"

"Great mani-pedi experience. They took their time and the result was exceptional. At other salons they hurry through and I usually end up with a cut from the cuticle trim or an abrasion from the filing. Not here. Also, prices are about $10 less than other area salons."

"Usually it is s good expirence but today the manicurist seemed like she was in a rush and didn't give me a good hand massage.My nails didn't come out that good and before I even got home one was peeling.Im going back tomorrow to have it fixed."

"Today I had the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. I walked in to get the owner's name and number. I originally went to MILANI spa where I was mocked by the employees when I walked in. The girl sweeping looked at my stomach and said something to another lady sitting there who then looked at my stomach area as well. They began to giggle and all the ladies (employees) started speaking their language to each other and one said to pick a color. Right after the other said they couldn't do my nails because they were closing soon. I said you told my mom you could do her nails when you thought it was for her... They spoke amongst themselves and laughed. I said can I just get a pedicure? And they sent me to pro nails. Infuriated with the way I was discriminated on and the way I was treated I left and although I was not going to do my nails figured someone should know about weight discrimination and appearance at this place. I then went to pro nails and asked for the owners information and began to explain the situation. The lady managing the place said that they didnt do that and called the other place (Milani). She was speaking in her native language and tells me they said I didn't pick a color and that they were not laughing at me. I told her that of course they would say that. I asked her why she would automatically Be siding with them and calling me a liar, that I am a customer to them and my first experience was not an acceptable one, also why would I take from my time to go there to try to lie to someone. I was appalled. She kept telling me I was wrong, and I said I just want the owners information for feedback and so that this does not happen to a Hispanic full figure women or any person. But, she said she didn't know me and will not give me the information. She also said that I was clearly being sensitive and the language barrier was also an issue since the ladies that work there (at Milani) did not speak good English. There is no bonafide reason why anyone should feel discrimination because of their appearance or nationality. I hope the owners reaches out. I will make sure that anyone I know sees this review and can raise awareness to the type of service these type of people are given the business. Unacceptable!!! I will never go there again. I will say this, there were two employees at the pro nails that agreed with what I was saying and even pulled me to the side and said forget them that in the future come to them and they would take care of me. But after the experience I had I will absolutely not be going to any place affiliated or owned by them. If anyone has the owners information please let me know. I'd love to give them the feedback. No one should feel the way I felt today."
