"I read all the reviews prior to going there. If I didn't have a gift card given to me by my boss, I probably wouldn't have gone at all. But because most of the negative reviews were 8 months or longer. I would give it a shot. Everything was ok, they were not very friendly, I wasn't looking for new friends so that was fine. I had a gift card for a mani/pedi told the man at the desk that was what I was there for and he told me to pick a color and pointed to the wall. Had my services and went to check out, I wanted to see if I could get a price list for services because they were not posted anywhere. Gave him my gift card and was about to ask, when he said that I owed more money for the color I chose, REALLY! I had chosen standard OPI nail color, I didn't get GEL nails or any thing extra. But he said that I chose a more expensive color, I asked where on the wall did it say that the color was more expensive than others. He said I should have asked .... I replied if its not posted someone should have told me! Needless to say no one was happy that day the girl that did my nails did not get the full amount of the tip I was going to give her, (not that she deserved what I was planning on giving her, I had to redo my cuticles,) because the extra cost came off cash tip. I wasn't going to ruin my special nail polish to get more cash. I left an called my co-worker who also received a Gift Card and warned her to ask how much her nail color is going to cost her before she has the services done."

"I do not write reviews but I have to.. I went here and I will start by saying that the guy who did my nails did a great job. That being said. I got a pedicure Wednesday my feet were a little sore the next day and I didn’t think anything of it. This morning on Friday at 4 am I wake up to the most excruciating pain and I went to the doctor. She told me I got a bacterial infection and that it’s spreading to my other toes. I can barely walk on my foot and I have to miss work the next two days. She has prescribed me antibiotics for 10 days. I called the salon and said can I speak to your manager please? She said she’s not in and I asked if she could call me back and she said I don’t know… I said my issue and said could someone please call me back for that? So she said I need to come in with my note which I gladly give here. I come in and they’re all waiting for me at the front. I told him that I thought he did a good job he grabbed my note out of my hand and said come over here. Very aggressive for me being the one with the actual issue. He said that I didn’t say anything when he asked if it hurt (which it didn’t hurt) and they said that it was my fault and then the manager who apparently wasn’t there said I should have come in yesterday if I had a problem or if it was bleeding or had pus… I’m pretty sure infections don’t escalate to that state in a day? Did not apologize or give me a refund or did anything sincere. I felt very uncomfortable with all 5 of them standing there looking mad at me. I didn’t want any problems. I just wanted maybe a reimbursement for the nails since I just spent another 120 at the doctors. I just feel very unsettled by all this and really shocked since the reviews were great. Posted my note from my doctor just in case someone needed proof."

"I come here from Newton for the last three years. I’ve tried a lot of places in Newton and Wellesley but this is the best manicure and pedicure you can get! Definitely recommend this place!"
