"Recently went in before a vacation for a gel pedicure and acrylic full set of nails as well as a kids mani/pedi for my daughter. I booked an appointment but to my surprise, on a Friday night, no customers…and now i know why….long story short, i left with burns on my legs (ruined wearing shorts and dresses on my trip) as well as no nails applied. I was there two hours and the woman was hurting my feet so badly, I usually don’t complain but im glad i said stop, because i left with burns and chopped up toe nails. I was treated horribly by the woman working on me. My daughter did not get a mani or pedi just polish and she was done in 15 mins and sat waiting for me for the rest of the hour and 45…the woman was using a dollar store, thin file to push back my cuticles! I started to bleed. She wrapped my legs in plastic with a scorching hot towel and some lotion under both that caused my skin to blotch and burn so badly I had to leave with toes un polished and in pain. The woman gave me an attitude when i asked if she was going to file my nails smoothly and fix them to be eve before the burning started. I asked them to not touch my legs and just fix my toe nails and sat in agony getting no where fast so I had to grow a pair, stand up and say stop, dont touch me anymore I need to go! (Im no confrontational and have a severe anxiety disorder..dx…) She even gave me an attitude when i was being burnt. (Unsure but think her name was Tina?) They still charged me 65 for my daughters gel polish on her nails and toes no mani or pedi and said kine was free for the damage (they wasted two hours burning me and i left a mess)! I was in gears and called the salon i used to go to 5 star nails in Cranston and they fixed me up the night before my trip at 630! Thank goodness! I was honestly so destroyed that night especially with having the burns, still paying then having to scramble to fix them when the appointment went wrong. I should have realized the salon was not up to par when on Friday night at 4pm it was empty! 5 star was packed and still saved my toes, legs, and managed to do a full set for me when they close at 7! They stayed late to help fix my nightmare. So don’t waste time and risk injury like me! Run!"
