The house sweet tempura sauce served alongside was the cherry on top, adding a sweet contrast to the savory crunch. Crispy chicken was evidently a signature touch, as it made appearances in both the Somerville Fried Rice and the Crispy Chicken Basil dishes. Of the two, the Crispy Chicken Basil stood out. "I really enjoyed my food! I got takeout and it was ready within 10 mins. The lunch special was an unbeatable price. The food was delicious and so was the Thai tea (and I am picky with Thai tea). I don't know if it came with the special or was just the same place being nice but I got a little tester trio of a crab Rangoon that were nice and fresh too. I would recommend this place for sure."
