"We have been looking for a good fried chicken place since we moved to the area, and this is now our new spot! The 4-piece bucket is a TON of food at a great price. Everything came out hot, fresh, and delicious. Highly recommend trying the pineapple side dish too! Importantly, the staff was super friendly and accommodating."

"A fun spot to try Hawaiian dishes in retro diner vibes. With very few Hawaiian restaurants in the Greater Boston area, I recently drove all the way from the city to try some of their plates. Stepping into Mochiko was like a retro flashback, complete with 70's diner vibes, tile flooring, and vintage decor. A quirky touch was their old arcade machine turned into an ordering kiosk at the entrance. On my first visit, I opted for the Loco Moco and Spam Musubi. The Loco Moco's beef patty had a pleasing smokiness, though it lacked the tenderness and juiciness reminiscent of authentic Hawaiian versions. During subsequent visits, I found the Kalua Pig Plate to have a similar dryness issue. However, Mochiko's standout dish was undoubtedly their signature Mochiko Chix Plate. The Japanese fried chicken was tender, with its flavors enhanced by the sweet miso glaze. Overall, the food at Mochiko might not be good enough to warrant a long drive, but it is still a worthwhile stop for anyone in the area."
