"My absolute favorite. Excellent service, the manager is fantastic and always shows my family so much love. Food is exceptional everytime! Peking duck is worth every penny. Crispy Chilean sea bass is also great. Really can’t go wrong with any dish."
"Quintessential culinary fare for a borderline dysfunctional Jewish family on Christmas night. Everything delicious, as expected. Even the drinks, that I of course did not drink as I am under the legal drinking age."
"Last night, my friends and I decided to try Bernard's, lured in by its cozy interior and promising reviews. While the ambiance and service were commendable, the food experience was a big downer. The staff were friendly, but slow in their service. The interior had a nice aesthetic, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. However, the space felt a bit too cramped, as if they were trying to accommodate more guests than comfortable. The real disappointment, however, was the food. I found the dishes to be rather bland and uninspired. It seemed like the kitchen was playing it safe, lacking the bold flavors and authenticity you'd expect from a Chinese cuisine experience. My vegetarian friend and I were particularly let down. Our options were limited, and the restaurant's idea of vegetarian cuisine was simply stuffing mushrooms into various dishes. This lack of creativity and variety in catering to dietary preferences was a major downside. Overall, I'll say this place doesn't live up to its expectations and I would recommend other Chinese restaurants."
"Outstanding service starting as the manager open the door for us and welcomed us. I have always wanted to try there food.. only downfall was no poopoo platters. They are a upscale place and cater to each individual order. Ribs were excellent...house Fried rice had great clean shrimp. Great care went into the lemon chicken but was mild lemon. I would go back but would like to try other items. Slightly expensive but I figured that before going...high quality food and vegetables. Great waiter...he ran like he was in the boston marathon making sure our visit was perfect."
"My favorite Chinese restaurant in the whole of Boston. They use quality and fresh ingredients. The food taste so good. The restaurant is nice and clean. The staff are friendly and eager to serve. We come here for birthday celebrations, family dinner, date nights, or quick meal. I love to start with sesame noodles, fried pancake, and hot and sour soup. The Peking duck is so good, the skin is so crispy and the meat is juicy. They even roll them up for you. My other favorite are Chilean sea bass with vegetables, sweet and sour chicken, Mahpo Tofu, lobster noodle, Crispy egg noodle with chicken. They also have a special noodle e-mee which need to be order in advance usually for special occasion. The price is also very reasonable."
