"My husband and I eat breakfast here every time we are at the Cape. The restaurant is very clean and bright, the food is fresh and hot, and our server is always attentive to coffee refills. The owner is so friendly, we feel like we are eating with good friends. Best place for breakfast!!!! Go Lions! :)"
"Had an amazing avacado toast, with caprese and scrambled eggs. Best breakfast i have in ages. Everyone should find this place: you will love it!"
"Used to enjoy this place, however the last 3 times I've tried to get breakfast here I've ended up leaving after not even being acknowledged by anyone. Someone needs to get a handle on the seating process. Too bad, the one time I served it was good."
"We both got the crab cake Benedict which was so good! The crab cakes were meaty and delicious with virtually no bread added. The poached eggs were very good as well. Our service was personable but not overbearing. Would definitely eat here again."
"Their Yelp page says they have many vegetarian options, which usually is a good sign, meaning that even a vegan can go in and find something that can be modified to be vegan. So I had a very interesting conversation with the young waitress. When we asked for a dairy-free creamer for our coffee, she said they had none. But after a pause, she said, "Wait, is almond milk dairy-free?" Yes, so score one for them on that. When I asked for any vegan thing the cook could make, use their imagination, I didn't care what it was as long as it was vegan, she went and conversed with the cook. She came back to say all they could offer was a fruit cup. I guess I must have been the very first vegan to ever enter the establishment, so I had to have another conversation with the waitress. "Well, you have vegetables because you put them in other dishes, right? And you have potatoes, right? Can't you just saute some veggies and plop them on a plate, and give me a side of hash browns or home fries, whatever you call them?" "Yes." Ok then, we were off to the races! And that's exactly what I got, sauteed veggies on a plate (they listed it as a Vegetable Bowl for $5.96 on the bill) and home fries on the side. Good enough! So vegans, be ready to have some interesting convos with the staff, or settle for the fruit cup! LOL"
