"I’ve been going here for years now. The owner is a stand-up, old-school classic gentleman demonstrating the “golden age” of true customer service. His recipes are delightful, and I hear great things about the clam chowder. I always order the “Grilled Garlique Chicken with Pesto" Crepe because it is absolutely to die for. There is plenty of parking available too. Additionally, picnic table seating is tucked away on the well-groomed lot, making it nice to sit and bring your dog along. Pretty rare for Rt. 1 Wells, Maine. The only reason I gave a four star for "Atmosphere" is due to Rt. 1; Rt. 1 is very busy during tourist season."
"Today's amazing lunch was at a fantastic spot, Chef Jacques Crepe and Chowder Wagon. We had clam chowder which was honestly the best I have ever had in my entire life!!! And I'm a New Englander! I love the tender chopped clams and delicately sliced fingerling potatoes and celery in a creamy clam chowder. It was seasoned perfectly. The crepes were just amazing. My spouse was lucky enough to get the last London broil, caramelized onion and horseradish sauce crepe and I had a Montecristo, turkey ham and Swiss crepe, drizzled with Maple syrup! Chef Jacques is a very friendly man with a good sense of humor too. We would recommend this food truck over most other area restaurants!"
"Forgive me for not taking a picture of the seafood chowder but it was amazing! Filled with fresh fish shrimp and other amazing goodness. Tasted like it was just made. We also had Sneaky Pete's spicy beef picadillo crepe. Flavors were great, spice level perfect. Only wish we ordered a dessert crepes too."
