"Had a wonderful time celebrating on ten years wedding anniversary with friends. The chef came out and customized our seafood tower, sent desserts and had an amazing waitress from Hungary named Nicolette."

"Very pretty location for a restaurant. Unfortunately the food was a complete miss. Lacking both flavor & quality. Over priced meals extremely small portions. Lobster stuffed haddock was extremely disappointing. Lobster meat was tough The hummus platter was the best thing on the menu"

"Great ambience and terrific view of ocean in distance. Breakfast menu includes some very tasty French toast and pancakes and the lattes are very good. Dinner menu is more limited but tasty - clam chowder was good and shrimp dumplings as well. Even when breezy and cool at night they have nice spots with heaters going!"

"Setting is amazing, beautiful patio terrace. I thought the service was above average. Nice beer and drink list. I got the beef tenderloin, it was good but not great. I thought they could’ve given more of the mashed potatoes and vegetables for the money. The beer itself was an excellent cut of meat cooked the way I like it. I would definitely go back but I didn’t think it was the best food I had on my vacation to Ocean Edge last week."

"Disappointing and overwhelmingly mediocre. With such an amazing setting and buildings that scream old world quality and service, the Terrace falls far short or expectations for a great lunch spot by the sea. The food, especially the lobster roll leads the below expectations parade…utterly tasteless, undersized and overpriced at $32 - even though the online menu listed it at $26 which was brought to the attention of the waiter. He checked with “management” who decided to enforce the higher price tag. What a missed opportunity to make a good impression by righting what was clearly a mistake on their part. The “house recipe” Veggie burger was large, but under seasoned and mushy….not very manageable in its bun or on the undersized plate on which it was served. Service was fair…nothing to write home about. Atmosphere was pleasant- mostly from the extravagant, albeit steamy hot, outside setting. It’s a shame, really. So much unrealized potential in this grand old resort."
