"The reasoning for the low stars is because of my preference. First the wait for a table on a somewhat dead night was about 30+ minutes. The clam chowder tasted like bacon instead of traditional clam chowder as posted on the menu. Also, I prefer thicker cream based chowder. This one is runny. When asking for an additional side of sauce, I got this tiny little cup of sauce with barely anything on the item I ordered. So it felt to me as though i was plaving my own sauce on a dry meal. Fries were a solid 8/10 soft but crunchy. Even with how slow it was it seemed the wait staff was not on their A game. No refills were offered on any beverage for anyone in my group. Which I look forward to being able to get refils while at a meal either it is soda or juice or water it's still polite to ask. I always give a place at least 2 chances before calling quits so maybe next time I go it will be a better experience."

"We ate at Barbyann's tonight. My husband had the seafood chowder and I had the French Onion Soup. Our entrees were - my husband had Connor's Club Sandwich, and I had the Fish & Chips. For dessert we had the Strawberry Shortcake. Delicious food and great service. Our server Cory was awesome. Very attentive and exceptionally courteous."
