"What a gorgeous place! I love the fact that it was once a church and they preserved the stained glass windows, chandeliers etc. The service was impeccable and our food was most delectable. Most loved the Calamari, Tuna, and Cod. It was heavenly!"
"Amazing restaurant in a beautiful church that was done over. inside is gorgeous and romantic and the food Rises up to the occasion. If you don't want to sit In the dining room near the fireplace, you can sit atthe beautiful bar. Pictured is the tuna tartar and their amazing lobster gnocci!"
"Disappointed Table #26 awful, overlooked the linen rack. I didn’t like the calamari appetizer, which was a grilled steak not what I expected. The filet entree was ok. My husband’s short rib Bourguignon didn’t have a lot flavor. The scalloped potatoes was excellent. The crème brûlée was very good. Very expensive for ok."
"I attended a small wedding at the Belfrey recently. I live in town and this was my first time here and it will not be my last! The food was delicious and artfully presented by friendly and professional waiters. The ginger carrot soup was absolutely delicious and flavorful. The Scallops over lobster risotto was delicious, but it was heavy on the sauce. The pineapple cheesecake and mango sorbet was incredible and so beautifully presented with fresh berries and caramel. I’m looking forward to coming back and having a drink at the bar, which was formally the altar of this former catholic church."
"First of all, the food is superb. I had a squash soup and shrimp and crab cakes, and all were really excellent. My wife had a pistachio salmon, and it was also excellent. The drinks are delicious too. Next, the setting is an old church. The conversion was done respectfully, there are many, many aspects of the church that are still present, including the stained glass and the lovely interior construction. The confessional has been repurposed into a bar and wine rack which I thought was an appropriate touch. Finally, the service is attentive without being obsequious. We were very well cared for, never really had to wait for anything, everyone is polite and efficient and friendly."
