"Decided to try this place on a whim and was not disappointed. Had the clam chowder, tater tots poutine and hot honey salad. Food was outstanding and enjoyed how crispy the tots were. Salad was refreshing and different flavor wise. Service was fast and friendly and restaurant was clean and new looking. Great experience overall."

"From start to finish this experience was incredible. Each member of staff (including the kitchen staff) were very kind, and informative. What really blew me away from this experience is that you can genuinely tell that everyone cares a about what they are doing, and it shows in both the food and the service. I heard our server attentively answer questions the party next to us asked about different beers! The kitchen staff were dancing around having a good time, and that really set this experience over the top. I got the Sheppards pie and it was to die for. Everything was well seasoned, the mashed potatoes were creamy, the braised short rib was deep in flavor and the root vegetables were cooked perfectly! Loved the simple side salad too. I look forward to going back soon!"

"Tried rod and rail back in September. Sorry for the delayed review. I love to try out new local restaurants and this was no exception. Really enjoyed the beer selection. Our food portions were absolutely massive and oysters were very fresh, and with freshness comes sandy ones- that was my only negative about my meal! I’m definitely overdue for a return and would recommend to friends and family to try!"
