"This is our second time dining at Cafe Strega and both times were superb. Its the North End in Plymouth. I absolutely love their red sauce! Last night we went to celebrate my birthday. There were 4 of us and we were all loving our plates! I had the chicken parm. Large plate. The chicken is ao tender and not overdone! The cheese is incredible. They use the best ingredients and it shows. We also had Penne alla siciliana (eggplant), Spaghetti al Fruiti Di Mare (shrimp only) and Pollo Saltimbocca. Everyone raved! Also, we were seated by the window in the glassed room. Thank you!"

"First time (last year) I brought out of town friends here - should have left a review then but I figured the undercooked salmon was a one off. Tried to go there again - only because we have a gift card, we were so turned off the first time - and we were turned away before 5PM because there are just reservations. This is despite at least two spread out seats at the bar. The lady up front had a bad attitude and offered an alternate seating area once she saw us leave. Strike 2. I REALLY wish the gift card was elsewhere. Maybe I’ll sell it to a friend."

"We made reservations and arrived a few minutes early, the were able to seat us within 10 minutes. The hostess was very pleasant. We sat and the waitress came over and apologized for the wait.. it was extremely busy, a wait was to be expected.. we ordered a drink and appetizers, she did not ask for our dinner, I commented how nice it was not to be rushed…. Our waitress brought our drinks and never came back. The young people helping the servers brought our appetizers , then cleaned up. Our server was waiting on the tables around us. 1 hour and 15 minutes later I asked one of the staff to see if our server could come over and take our order..,I tried to get her attention but no luck. We were told when she had a minute she would come over..another 15 minutes went by… we finally just asked for the check and left. This was not the fault of the restaurant … when I explained the situation to the hostess, she was horrified and wanted to try to make it better, but at that point it was just too late, but I did appreciate the effort. I completely understand that they were busy and probably understaffed . She could’ve just apologized because she obviously forgot about us but instead she acted like nothing was wrong with a bit of an attitude like we were being annoying for asking her to come over."

"Authentic Italian menu in a cozy atmosphere (often crowded in a good way) where the wait is usually worth what's delivered in terms of delicious homemade food! Wine is fantastic & our server experienced. Highly recommend Cafe Strega! 5⭐️"

"It's difficult to find a true Italian restaurant that serves authentic cuisine that tastes great. Cafe Strega is certainly one of the best restaurants I've been to thus far for amazing Italian food. Everything we had was terrific and the service received was just as great."
