Reviews
"The Salted Cod is a real gem in the Rocky Neck, and easily one of my favorite places to have a good time in Gloucester. Starting with the cool historic building, the vibe here is always nice, with fun music and a mix of locals, artists and tourists (in the summer). The servers are also super friendly and personable, which makes me feel at home. They have an excellent selection of wines, delicious spritz, beer on draft, and all the drinks are very reasonably priced. This place is perfect for having a small bite, coffee or dessert while enjoying the water views. I also love how they support the local artists and always have new interest pieces for sale. We love "the Cod", highly recommended!"
"Sweet little spot on the water. Had the small bites platter. Tasty with 2 excellent dipping sauces. Beer, wine and food were reasonably priced. Servers were super friendly. The space also has work from several local artists."
"Perhaps my favorite spot while vacationing in Gloucester. The staff were friendly and knew many of the locals by name. The cocktails were great and the cheese appetizer was exactly what we needed. Would recommend!"
"Love this spot, especially for a glass of wine on a Friday afternoon. Date night? Work meeting? Field trip with my kids? Works for all of 'em! Thanks to the owners and staff for bringing this special spot to Gloucester and taking good care of us."
"Good vibe. Cool music. Nice view. Risyic tin building, doors and bar counter. Nice art. Super servers. Nice wine menu. We had trebbiano and albarino. The warm goat cheese felt good."
