"We are vacationing in Marblehead and went to Maddie’s as a recommendation from our B&B. The stairs to go in the restaurant are outside. We had a short wait on a Thursday night but it was worth it! Best meatloaf I’ve ever had. I want to learn how to make it that good. My husband had the lobster roll which was actually 2 with fries. They were make traditionally with the side cut buns and butter. Fantastic! The price was reasonable and my husbands beer was only $6. We thought we got a great deal. Thank you and shout out to our waitress Maddie. She was very attentive."

"Riley was a very attentive bartender. Great conversations happening througjout the bar, and she was welcoming to all who walked though the door. Oysters were gorgeous, lobster rolls equally so. Great price for both food and drink"

"GREAT fresh seafood!!! Look at the size of those shrimp!!! I had the Fisherman's platter...will order the same thing next time!!! LARGE portions (including my beer!) and GREAT prices!!! You MUST EAT HERE if you're in the area!!! Back again (10/08/23)...had the scallops with lobster risotto and asparagus...it was great, and the pieces of lobster in the risotto were more like chunks of lobster! Definitely substantial!"

"This place was awesome! We stopped in here for dinner after a long day of sightseeing in Salem and Marblehead. My wife had the clam chowder and I had the scallops. They were both excellent! Our server Shayna? sp?, was awesome! She gave us tourists a lot of tips on what to see and where to eat while on the East Coast. She definitely loved her job and was very attentive to all the customers. We will be back if ever in the area!"
