"The Square Cafe is our go to restaurant. The food is fabulous. The combination of flavors in the curry halibut plate is stunning. The calamari is my favorite anywhere. The steaks are great. I haven't had anything on the menu I didn't like. We love that they opened the 2nd location in Hanover as it is so much closer, bigger, and less noisy. Definitely a restaurant you should make your regular."

"I always want to like the Square Cafe but am always disappointed. The food is good. Not great. The service is very good. What desperately needs to change is the menu. I've worked my way through it - yes you may have out of season asparagus with your chicken under a brick but it's the same chicken under a brick that's been on the menu for 10 years. Looking forward to an update!"

"Food is incredible, everything from the bread to the entrees to the drinks. The attention to detail with flavor and hospitality was fantastic! Def would recommend anything here but the curry scallops were my favorite. I went once with a group of people and the experience was better because it felt like we had more space. On the other hand, i went on a few dates here and it was still a great experience minus the incredibly tight tables and too loud music during dinner time - we were basically on top of each other and still couldn't really hear one another."
