"They came to Weymouth Farmer's Market. I was so excited to see the South Shore BBQ truck I rushed my shopping to try them out before they left. OMG! The brisket sandwich was awesome. Everything I had hoped it would be. I've been searching for a brisket sandwich ever since I had one up in NH @ the Blues Festival. I can't wait to have another one! It's that delicious. "South Shore Smokehouse catered my birthday party. I was dead set on having BBQ, so I started emailing and calling several other area BBQ's weeks in advance; South Shore was the only place that responded in a timely and professional manner. The delivery was 10 minutes early and the food was phenomenal. I highly recommend the Texas Twinkies, mac & cheese, potato salad, and cornbread. Big hit!"

"I can’t say enough wonderful things about Chad and his food truck. One week before our wedding welcome party another truck unfortunately had to cancel on us due to truck malfunction. We were scrambling to find another truck and Chad stepped up to save the day. He couldn’t have been more sympathetic to our situation and did everything to ensure we weren’t out two deposits. Then the night of the event he was so kind to everyone and was so welcoming. And the food….oh my god. The best brisket and Mac n cheese I have ever had. I would recommend this food truck to anyone and I hope he does more events in Scituate so I can continue to enjoy the food!"

"South Shore Smokehouse (owner: Chad) is absolutely amazing & if I could rate more than 5 stars, I absolutey would. My husband & I started as regulars at Chad's restuarant, Lou Lou's, where he served amazing breakfast (RIP to Lou Lou's but that business has now pivoted to BBQ/catering) to following his food truck around to different breweries to Chad & his crew serving at our wedding on 9/22/23. Honestly, we're overdue for leaving a review. I could talk for way longer on how everything has been amazing but let me focus on the most recent/important to us: the wedding. Chad was very easy to work with as we were designing our menu for our wedding (3 passed apps + 2 meal buffet) & always came with helpful suggestions. He was up for whatever we wanted & was very excited to help us create a perfect menu for our special day. On the day of, Chad & his staff (Krystal & Pat) were so on top of their game with everything. They were on time/schedule for everthing & served delicious food that our guests couldn't stop gushing about. I would 100% recommend South Shore Smokehouse to anyone, from visiting a brewery while the food truck is there, to catering a small backyard BBQ, to a full blown wedding."

"This past weekend, we used South Shore Smokehouse as the caterer for a 50 person backyard pig roast/barbecue at my house. From start to finish, Chad was friendly, responsive, helpful, and communicative about the process and what suggestions might make the event one to remember. Though the weather didn't turn out the best, Chad came prepared with tents and containers for leftovers to make the day as easy as possible. Despite having another event to tend to later in the day, he spent several hours prepping, serving, and wrapping up at our house to make this barbecue one to remember. I can't recommend Chad & South Shore Smokehouse enough and will be reaching out to them again if we host the event in the future."
