Reviews
"Great place to stop in for breakfast i think it’s attached to a hotel/inn. They are very great at being at the tables and asking if anyone needs anything. But the food was not to special, just felt a little rushed coming out. I am sitting here writing this review and they are not pushing me out after I paid so I feel comfortable. Rachel was my server very nice! Thank you"
"We were seated at the window in a large booth which seemed like a great spot in the restaurant until we noticed all the dead flies on the windowsill. After complaining, we were directed to move one booth over where the seats were covered in sticky red duct tape. We then moved ourselves to a table across the room. The carpet was dirty and generally the place didn't feel clean. A breakfast sandwich on pumpernickel toast was so saturated in butter I couldn't eat the bread. The "guts" were good though and the French toast, bacon and over easy eggs were "okay." Endless coffee for $4 a cup but the coffee was mediocre at best. But for the flies I would have given this establishment 3 stars."
"They couldn't get a clean coffee mug in two tries (three if you count the other one on the table). All these specks you see in the picture were dried up dirt and grease, I was able to remove them with my finger. Several waitresses (or bussers?) had nasty curving 2 inch nails. Our waitress was nice, but she also needs to wash her uniform. The breakfast was finished off with the saltiest greek omelette of my life and cold corn beef hash in a benedict. French toast was not brioche, it wasn't even white bread! I didn't think places like this still existed on the Cape."
"Parking is in the back of the Inn it’s attached to. Nice environment, welcoming. A bit noisy from all the customer’s talking. Friendly and professional staff. Food seemed to take a while to come out. My bowl of New England clam chowder tasted delicious. The potatoes were the perfect consistency, but the clams were chewy and the Oyster crackers were very stale. The corned beef hash, the fresh fruit bowl, and the corn bread were divine! Definitely homemade and scrumptious. The pancakes were mediocre, and the eggs & the grilled cheese sandwich left a strange aftertaste. I think their cooking equipment used to make the eggs and the grilled cheese sandwich may need some deep cleaning. We came here because it was only a few minutes North from the Steamship Authority departure dock. Any restaurants closer to the dock had no parking. Not sure if we’d return to eat here."
"Excellent breakfast choices. Loved the fish cakes. Friendly staff. Will come back."
