"Big industrial cottage core place. Food is good, but not overly generous for the price. It has some parking. Lively space with a bakery. It is not a brewery"
"Secured a table for 10 on a Saturday morning. Guests ordered a combination of brunch and lunch entrees. I started with the Mocha coffee and ate the falafel sandwich with added french fries. I definitely could have shared these with three people!. While my sandwich, which I deconstructed and ate with a fork, was delicious, I definitely had envy of the Cobb salad with either added shrimp or avocado!"
"Food: I came for the bakery. There wasn't a huge selection of pastries, but what they had all looked good. I ended up getting the honey graham latte and pumpkin pie danish with whipped mascarpone, which I'm guessing are both seasonal items, but I could be wrong. The latte tasted like a teddy graham as advertised and hit the spot on a cold day. The pumpkin pie danish with whipped mascarpone was delicious! It was very flaky, the filling wasn't too heavy, and the sugar crystals added a nice crunch. I would get it again. Service: I feel like the person who took my order could have been friendlier, as it felt like I was being rushed, but it was a small interaction, so I won't think much of it. Other than that, no issues. Ambiance: The inside is very spacious with tall ceilings. I didn't dine it, but it looks like a good spot for large groups. There is also a free parking lot and plenty of two-hour street parking."
"Good service and beautiful atmosphere. Even the food is beautiful. I’m taken away by the beauty of the food and appreciate the effort that goes into making it look so presentable. Seeing how small the portion was left me in awe as well. Weird enough, I was full afterwards haha. I didn’t get that Smokey and salty flavor I expected from a smoked salmon (Why I removed a star). The Taro latte smelled and tasted amazing. I wouldn’t go to steel and rye specifically for the food, instead it’s a great place to socialize."
"A great American restaurant featuring an in house bakery and wood oven for pizza! I had dinner and brunch there, both were very high quality. I’d say in this restaurant quality is central to their business model rather than quantity. This does not mean that the portions are small: in both occasions I was feeling full after having my meals. I’d definitely go back and would recommend it to anyone: it is family friendly, but also feels like a good place for a date."
