"Eli was rude, and knicked my ears on both sides. Didn't come out anywhere near what I asked for. Won't be back"

"I called ahead to see what the wait was like. I asked if they had time for a walk-in. They said "All we do are walk-ins!" Didn't answer my question but whatever. I got there and there were over 10+ people in line. Tried waiting, but the barbers alternated taking breaks so it barely moved. After an hour of that I had to leave without a haircut, since I was about to be late for a movie."

"I felt very unwelcome, the guy didn't even ask if I had an appointment. He just said sorry we only do appointments. Even though I was trying to get one. So I left, went somewhere else and got a mediocre haircut. Very disappointing day."

"I got a really excellent cut here yesterday. A lot of people will sit on the chair and tell the barber "I just want a short cut. " That drives a lot of barbers nuts, because getting a short cut right isn't all that easy. When a barber spends 45 minutes giving you a really short cut, you know that you aren't dealing with a hack. I was and am really happy with my cut and plan to go back. I want to mention that it's scrupulously clean and a fun kind of place to hang out while waiting for your turn."

"I decided to purchase a gift certificate for my husband's veteran grandfather for Christmas, thinking a good haircut and shave would bolster his spirits. When I walked in, it was super busy, but the barber immediately stopped to help me. He shakes pretty badly, but he was confident he could help him. He just used the gift certificate and I'm so happy and impressed. The barber immediately changed the music to some golden oldies, treated him with dignity and respect, and he feels like a million bucks. I am so happy with the experience, for him. I cannot say enough good about the Barber Lounge."
