"Walking there because I was in the mood for a good old roti and upon walking and it was a crowd of people but they weren't there to purchase food they were standing around getting some soup and eating in the small area. Before placing my order there was a woman standing behind the area where they cook the food eating out of a cup she then went over to the hot food and put more in her cup that she was eating out of and use the serving spoon that we would be served with it ..yuck on a few levels. Definitely not following ServSafe guidelines"
"Searching for some quality West Indian food (roti or doubles), this is a great place to get your next meal. Service is pretty good, too."
"The minute I entered their restaurant, Dev/Dave (pardon me) and Asif were very friendly. I told them it was my first time at the restaurant and asked what each of the dishes were. Dave had such a warm demeanor and talked about all the dishes with passion. I asked him to tell me about the dishes but he gave me a bite of everything to try before buying. Doubles - 5* Dal - 5* Potato curry - 5* Polourie - 5* Callaloo - 4* Flaky roti - 4* Stew & curry chicken - 3.5* I bought doubles, potato curry, curry & stew chicken, Calalou, flaky roti & polourie. Doubles was amazing, so was the potato curry. Polourie is a fried dough ball topped with tamarind chutney, spicy sauce w/scorpion pepper(I think) and cucumber. That was great! I'll be back to try some of their goat & fish dishes."
"As a former New Yorker living in RI I miss Trinidadian food, and this brought me right back. The friendly service, the chill vibe, and boy the food was like your friends granny asked you to stay for lunch. I never had a double before and I devoured two of them so fast while driving away... this place is a gem!"
"Came here today. The food was not displayed in an appetizing way. They didn't have curry shrimp or aloo pie on a Saturday at 2 pm. Kind of unheard of for a trini roti shop. Prices were not displayed. Bought 3 doubles. Definitely the worst doubles I ever had, as it had no flavor. The channa was hard. $3 for one doubles was extremely pricey, especially considering the quality. I took a look at the chicken curry and it looked thin and watered down so I didn't bother to buy anything else."
