"Average American diner food. I prefer the side potatoes to come seasoned. They went the extra mile to get me a blueberry muffin from the freezer for a grilled muffin. My scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked. I appreciate the stellar staff, organic eggs and watching the fresh squeezed orange juice machine was fantastic. They have several eggs Benedict options! The atmosphere of this diner screams small old town charm but all the seating and decor are new and fresh. Conveniently located on the bike trail. Free parking lot."
"Nothing about this breakfast was enjoyable. The parking lot is small with a weird layout and a striped pedestrian path running through it. Even just trying to park was a frustrating and confusing experience. Once we got through the door it was unclear if we should seat ourselves or wait to be seated as there was no sign or host. After 3 tables worth of people were behind us near the doorway did a waitress finally direct us to a table. We ordered 2 coffees and 2 waters to start. A single water arrived as we were finishing our meal, along with the coffee warm ups that were promised halfway through breakfast. Considering there's less than 20 tables at at least 3 wait staff, this was simply unacceptable. The coffee warmups were hastily poured and coffee quickly on the table. We both got "the teacher". The highlights of the meal were the sausage and bacon, both of which warrant giving credit to the manufacturer and not the chef. The rest of the meal was fantastically bland. The wheat toast had a gummy chewy texture that somehow made it difficult to eat. The potatoes had a nice crisp, but that's not enough to save the meal. The blueberry muffin so lightly grilled that there was no carmelization and nearly all of it was cold as though it had just been pulled from the fridge. I had a feeling it was going to be bad when the waitress asked if I wanted it grilled. So no love for the kitchen either. I would have been happier going to McDonald's and eating an egg McMuffin in my car. As for the place itself? It's cute and clean and has nice diner vibes. But the other patrons were annoying and obnoxiously loud. And it's a small spot so there's lots of echoing. Not a great experience here either. I'm not fussy about places to eat. But the only thing saving this place from a single star across the board is that it wasn't dirty or unsafe. Frankly, I'd take dirty and unsafe with better food than whatever this place is trying to make happen. I won't be back."
"First time going , The establishment was clean which was nice. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and that came with home fries, at least thats what the menu said. The potatoes are more like scalloped potatoes. I tried giving them a try and they just didn’t taste good. I waited for the waitress to come ask how the food was so I can ask for a side of fries but she was sitting at the front talking and didn’t come until we finished. Oh well!"
"The food was okay. My smokered burger was good but a bit bland. Think it is served that way so different customers can adjust it whatever they want so I added a few pinches of salt. My friend ordered a benedict. Was good but the boiled eggs were a bit overcooked so there was little egg yolk coming out when cut. The staffs were friendly and catering but we were put in a pretty long wait guess because of the new management. However the open kitchen's cook was not comfortable of her being photographed so I have no photos of that. We were cool with it anyway. That was impressive to witness the cooking process so I really suggest to sit near the bar. The condiments were sufficient and ready. One thing to note, on the menu it was citrus chamomile tea but the lady came out with chamomile tea bag kind, not with citrus so be mindful with that."
"The cinnamon roll waffle: was delicious and crispy. The fruit it came with was fresh and the whipped cream as just sweet enough. Really good! The Atlantic Benedict eggs: it was OK. It came a little cool and the egg yolk wasn’t running like you would expect for Benedict eggs. The sauce was really good thought. I wasn’t a fan of the house potatoes–they were a little chewy. Will probably be back to try more menu items!"
