"Wednesday afternoon, we placed our orders before 11:45AM. The dining area only had two tables: one group with 3 people, another group with 2 people. We were the third group. Service is SLOW. 3 cooks and 1 server. 12:16PM the food finally arrives. It's a bit overpriced, delicious, but certainly overpriced. The Bandeja Pisa looks like it is missing the other half of the pork rind. Their Fresh Wild Caught Salmon entree was very lackluster, it more like a piece of salmon than anything. Everything tasted great, but pricing didn't match the portions. The server was nice, 5 stars. However, we may stick with our usual Columbian spots in the meantime."
"What a gem in JP! The Beantown Benny was absolutely fantastic. It's served on fresh grilled corn bread which totally changes the game. And their Jpizle sauce? Oof, I could put that on anything. Elijah was attentive and delightful. The atmosphere is quaint with touches of an old school diner mixed with Columbain flair. I'll have to come back for a dinner to better explore the menu."
"Food was served quickly and tasted amazing . The food options were fresh french toast with fresh fruits and huevos ranchos with a fresh salsa on top . Fresh squeezed juice great start to the day ."
"Only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because the menu is hit or miss. The Columbian food (ie. the Calentádo and the Bandeja Paisa) is consistently fantastic. However, the more traditional American items (ie. steak & cheese sub, mac & cheese, and burger) are inexplicably horrible. It’s a big menu and it feels like some of the items don’t need to be on it if they can’t make them well. The atmosphere and service is always great. I’ll be back regularly, but I’ll stick to the menu items that I know are delicious. The Bloody Mary is also very tasty."
"Ok we walked in and Elijah greeted us with a huge smile. He said sit anywhere ! And told us all about the history of this delicious restaurant. We got there at 8:30 am Sunday and by 9 am it was almost full. So much laughter and all townies eating brunch. Elijah asked about allergies and said get the blueberry pancakes ! That was great so was the apple bacon. So affordable so great"
