"Came here with my family, it was fantastic. The food was incredible, the service top notch as well as the cocktails. Great end to an otherwise hectic day."

"Atmosphere was meh. Our waitress was extremely combative and quite intimidating. A lady who greeted who greeted us with and a scowl that could rival Satan's. Overly dramatic, but she argued with us about our order and expressed great disdain for super typical questions about the menu, which sadly made for a poor welcoming and was telling of things to come. The greeter/bus boy was a delight. The bourbon bramble was nigh undrinkable, sadly. Other cocktails were ok but overpriced for what they were. Bolognese was good, scallops were overcooked and most dishes were under seasoned. Not terrible but didn't live up to the price, around 5-10 dollars less per dish would be totally reasonable. Wouldn't return!"

"The Short Ribs are absolutely incredible. I’m out to eat at least twice a week and they are the best Short Ribs I’ve ever had, hands down! Honestly, might be the best dish on the north shore. You have to try them."

"Quick friendly service with great food. The Bolognese pasta is my favorite! The interior is nicely decorated with an homage to classic film and performers. It's very clean, and well-ventillated, which makes me feel safer in this COVID era. I highly recommend both the Charles and the neighboring Bunratty Tavern, which is Irish-themed. While the themes and menus are different in each place, the service and quality are excellent in both. And, most importantly to me, I can enjoy a perfect pint of Guinness in either place :)"

"Highly recommend! Food was delicious- we got the Mac and cheese balls, chicken avocado sandwich on focaccia and short ribs on mashes potatoes - it was all excellent. I think the staff was the best part. It felt like they all wanted to be there and were genuinely happy for us to be there. I don't live in the area but am planning to go back."
