"I ordered Portuguese kale soup for an appetizer baked stuffed shrimp and a triple chocolate mousse cake for dessert. All the food was excellent and I would eat here again. The reason why I gave the food 4 stars and not five is only because the baked stuffed shrimp came with 3 shrimp and most places come with 4. The reason I gave the service four stars and not five is because the restaurant was not super busy, and I never received my appetizer after I pointed it out they brought it after my main course and I ended up taking it to go. I felt like because it wasn’t that busy. It should’ve been forgotten. regarding the atmosphere. I noticed that everyone had candles on the table but none of them were lit. I feel like that would’ve helped have a romantic atmosphere, and attention to detail is important. All of these things would not be a reason why I wouldn’t go back. I would definitely go back to this restaurant is it just things that I pointed out and observed. The food was delicious and the waiter was friendly.."

"Have been here twice and both times were excellent. Food is absolutely authentic Portuguese. Wish there were more places like this in Boston. Polvo a lagareiro was fantastic."

"Great food. Very reasonable prices with large portions. Good drinks. There is like a bar side that’s a little less formal that seems to be self seating and then the other side of the restaurant is a bit fancier. It was a bit too salty for my taste and the egg on the Bife a Chefe was well done but was otherwise perfect."
