"This was a good spot I can't remember the exact location I went to. But it was good, 3 stars for the atmosphere only cause it was just too hot there."
"Really great Japanese BBQ here! The meat is delicious, their beef is the best. Shrimp is also great! Spicy shrimp is actually spicy. I especially love the sauces that you dip your food into, I recommend the red one, it’s sweet! The meat is great quality and very fresh, full of flavour! Don’t get filet minion, it’s bad and hard to chew… portions are a little small. Cheese corn and gyoza is good!"
"Gyu-Kaku on Elliot Street in Cambridge Massachusetts. Japanese BBQ where you grill at your table, or you can order something prepared from the menu. The food was good quality, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There is a parking garage and you pay when leaving. Rates are posted when entering the garage. On street parking is tough to get. We had a great experience and will return. Check it out!!"
"Returning to Gyu-kaku after two years, I was a bit taken aback by the significant price increase. However, Gyu-kaku still remains a dependable choice for barbecue, although the overall quality of the meats didn't quite justify the price. My friend and I decided to go for the all-you-can-eat Ultimate menu, which boasted some additional meat options. Unfortunately, most of the meat choices were marinated with either the miso seasoning or the sweet soy tare sauce, resulting in a somewhat monotonous flavor profile. Thankfully, the addition of Napa kimchi provided a much-needed acidic and zesty kick. However, it was challenging to discern notable differences between some of the meat selections due to the similar marinades. Fortunately, there were a few standout items that salvaged our dining experience. The Angus beef rib with sweet soy tare stood out with its generous amount of succulent beef fat and tenderness. The shrimps, available in both garlic and spicy variations, were succulent and well-seasoned. Considering the price increase and the somewhat underwhelming quality of certain meat options, I would recommend exploring the basic or à la carte menu choices."
"Went there for lunch. Everything was well presented, lunch menu is ~20pp including miso, salad, 3 kinds of meat, and rice. Highly recommend getting the galbi and sirloin steak, even though it's more $$$ but you get what you pay for! The meat quality is that much better than the other standard meats on the menu. Service was decent, they changed grill plate after us asking twice, but staff were all courteous. What else... i just love the dipping sauces..mmhmmm This place is right near Harvard campus so i highly recommend if in the area or visiting like us!!"
