"Cozy little place filled with sweets and the smell of fresh coffee. I have purchased several different kinds of donuts which all have been very good. Airy, soft, and flavorful. The bear claws are a big hit around here! They have donut cakes available for those that are interested in something different"

"I' from out of town and should have known better than to stop in a place with no other cars in the lot. Went in...sat down...waited 5-min for the server to make it over to the table. Her: "Are you ready to order?" Me: "Can I see a menu 1st?" Menu delivered. Ordered a Chicken Salad sandwich on multi-grain bread. Out of MG bread. Settled on Whole Wheat. 5-min later the sandwich came out. The Bread itself was 2X thicker than the amount of Chicken Salad on it, literally. Server said, "that's how I was trained", and offered nothing more. Finished eating and went to pay...with Credit Card. Payment processed...no receipt offered or signature required. ASKED for receipt, got it, and left. In the car, I noticed the receipt was for a CASH payment. Went back in and asked for my CC receipt. The Cash receipt and CC receipt totals did not match. Asked why..."that's for the CC transaction fee", which I was not informed about prior. Not sure how long this place has been in business, but they won't last much longer. IMO...go elsewhere"

"Excellent service and staff were very friendly. Came to try the donuts because I have heard great things. The donuts are delicious. The cream filled donuts are made with fresh cream and the glazed donuts they make are out of this world. The jelly donuts have a great glazed outside base but the jelly inside just was not cutting it. Would go back for the cream donuts!"

"The owners/staff are EXCEPTIONAL- I bring my nieces whenever I visit them in town and we all love it. They’ve tossed in extra pastries for the girls before, and remember them from previous visits. Absolutely love Rise… wouldn’t go anywhere else!! (Doughnuts, breakfast sandwiches, boba, lattes, smoothies… we’ve tried it all and it is SO. GOOD. without fail every time!"
