"Good Food - good service - large beer selection. Not fancy - burgers, sandwiches, pizza and pasta. Large bar area - we went on Sunday night and there was a live band playing. Good for families. Tables surrounded the bar and booths had high backs. Had the burger it was cooked to my order and tasted great. Other entrees included fish and chips - which was good and large. Pasta dish was a large serving and was good. Kids grilled cheese was well melted and came with fries. Good solid meals."

"First time visiting the Hometown Tavern. We got there right when it opened for the day. The Nachos were a large portion. More than enough for two people. The Rhody Steak Bomb was really good. Nice fries. Hard to finish with an app. Didn't have a chance to try a dessert. Maybe next time."

"I give 3 stars because, The service was great, the atmosphere was great…. But they were a little pricey and the entree I ordered I wasn’t very pleased with. I ordered the steak tips with potatoes and broccoli and didn’t care for any of it. My daughters food was good the (hometown platter) and the Buffalo chicken I ordered to go in the past was excellent so I decided to eat in this time. My opinion; their fried food is good and they are a little expensive for the portion size."
