"Great food, Great atmosphere, Excellent service, which started off on a sour note: Upon arrival they couldn't find my reservation for 4 that I made the weekend they opened (about 3 weeks ago). This reservation was via Google, confirmed & reminder sent 2 days ago which I showed them. The way this was handled, was Zero stars, ( I gave 4 stars because our waitress was awesome) The hostest says, "we no longer take Google reservations"....seriously! She asked if we would be okay sitting at a hitop?.....to which I said absolutely not. Nothing like making a new customer, who made a legitimate reservation 3 weeks ago, feel like it's the customers problem. Instead, how "bout saying "I can't find your reservation, I'll be right back". Then go chat w a manager & figure it out, w/o implicating the customer. Then once the customer is seated, inform them that future reservations are now all made through their website. We ended up having a wonderful evening & its an excellent addition to the highly competitive EG restaurant scene. All four dishes were great; Chicken parm, pasta; marinara, carobanara & vongole. Vongole was done using manilla clams & was one of the best I've had. I never question price when food is great, but I will say that portion size isn't huge, it's adequate. Drinks are excellent (especially the Negroni) & reasonably priced. Overall they do a great job, work hard, take pride in their place & it shows."
