"Ordered food last Tuesday night via door dash online. The restaurant was closed due to the weather , yet the order went through. How can this be? Anyway, I was charged and I waited a couple of days for the charge to reverse, ( how stupid of me) However I thought either door dash or AvaLena's would do the right thing and reverse the charge, after all what did they do to earn the money? It turns out no reversal came so I called AvaLena's who will get most of the money that I paid, but they wouldn't help. Door dash wouldn't help and would not refund my money bc the charge was older than 3 days. Yes 3 days. Anyway will not be using door dash and I will not be going back to AvaLena's as apparently a lousy 25 bucks is more important to that restaurant than doing the right thing for a longtime loyal customer."

"UPDATED: we've been multiple times now. The service is hit or miss, the good is hot or miss. We do enjoy Music Bingo on Tuesday nights. Lowering from 4 stars to 3 based on 2 visit - service and ridiculous up-charges. 2nd visit - Thursday 6 pm - not busy at all. Service wasn't any better than the first time. The waitress had so much perfume on that it lingered long after she left the table, thankfully she didn't come around often. Unfortunately she didn't come around often enough. In our experience, since they have runners, the waitresses don't come back and check timely. She did however come with my (free) pickles after I was more than halfway through my burger :( No offer to refill drinks We ordered Smash burgers. Expected them to be cooked all the way through, two meals (4 burgers) all pink and med/rare inside. Also they nickel and dimed us again. The waitress asked what side we wanted and listed off the sides, including onion rings, which I agreed to and then there was an uncharge of a dollar fifty on the bill, which was never mentioned. *The worst one was the uncharge of one dollar for mayonnaise... for the bacon cheeseburgers!!!! Seriously!!!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Our first time here. 7 pm on a Friday night. Busy, but not crazy busy. Live music. We enjoyed our food and will go back again. Not too often, because it's a bit pricey, our bill was a hundred for three people, with one alcohol drink and one appetizer. Food was piping hot when it arrived. Ordered chilli, build your own grilled cheese, steak and cheese egg rolls (Yum), the AvaLenas chicken(?), and Chicken Marsalla. The onion rings are 5 star. It just stinks there an up charge. Oh they apparently up charge for everything! Up charged for adding a flavoring to a hard alcohol, that they have on tap. That is one of two reasons I didn't give 5 stars, the other was the waitress. She was happy to answer questions when we arrived (obviously since it was our first time we had questions) however, when she came back with drinks and to take orders she wasn’t quite so happy or friendly. And she didn't get any friendlier as the meal progressed. She was gone for most of our meal. No idea where... She never offered to refill drinks, I had to ask. I had asked for ranch dressing for my appetizer, she never brought it, asked the food runner for it and he never brought it, he finally came back and asked if we received it and when we hadn't, then they came back again with it. By that time we were already halfway thru our meals, nevermind the appetizer I wanted it for. All in all, we were very happy with the food abs there's plenty on the menu to choose from."

"We had a great time here! My husband and I had a very nice dinner. The live music was lovely and set such a great atmosphere. Our server Charles was the very best, he was super attentive and so nice! Would recommend. 10/10"

"I've been here twice in the past two weeks. The beer list is excellent, I was able to try something and interesting at both visits. The staff is engaging and helpful and the pizzas actually serve two people. They also have deviled eggs one of my favorite foods."
