"Fantastic experience! Not only was the food incredible, but we learned a bit about the apparitions that have made appearances in the restaurant. It was a bit surreal to think that we were in a building where one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence lived. How cool is that?!? Also, the cheese and cracker bar had the most amazing garlic herb cheese spread I've ever had. Other points of importance, there's a wide selection of drinks and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommend sitting upstairs on the couches in the corner."
"Having eaten at the Lincoln VT branch we just had to try when in town. It didn’t disappoint. The ambiance, friendly welcome and attentive service made us feel right at home. The varied menu offers many unusual choices. The dips and cheese with crackers is dangerous, so tempting to fill up before you even start your meal! The food was delicious, the prime rib was perfectly cooked and very tasty, as were the chicken tacos. No room for desert sadly."
"Really good. Food was flavored well. Even though my husbands tacos were cold they were still good. They took them off the bill. We didn’t even have to ask. The pot pie was seasoned well and the Ruby red slipper martini was fantastic. The dips and crackers and roll just made it."
"Pros: - Food: One word...FANTASTIC! Fresh and delicious!!! - Atmosphere: Again, FANTASTIC! Beautiful old tavern that was once home of Matthew Thornton (buried across the street) who was one of the signers of The Declaration of Independence and one of the fathers of our great nation. -Service: One word...FANTASTIC! Jackson was our server and he took great care of us. Cons: This restaurant is not close enough for me to regularly patronize"
