"Show us a story is supposed to start at 7:30 what is now 10 of eight and the shoe still hasn’t started very humid and uncomfortable the theater is beautiful uncomfortable maybe I’ll try it again not sure though. I wanted to treat my wife to a special location so far not so good.the show finally started very entertaining and funny beautiful grounds. If you don’t mind starting late this is money we’ll spent"
"Quality of acting is excellent but the sets (no sets!) leave much to be desired! Many summer stock theaters do a fine job with sets! A bit more creativity here folks! Has to be $$ in the budget for this! Disappointing."
"We went to The Cape Playhouse expecting to see a stage version of the 1951 film, but we're blown away by the fresh, sophisticated book by Craig Lucas. It adds historical context and depth to the show's timeless music by George and Ira Gershwin."
"My husband and I saw American in Paris and found the performance amazing! Awesome talent! Very enjoyable show, for sure! However, we were very disappointed to not be given a Playbill, as part of the "experience" of going to the theatre is to be able to read about the biographies of the actors (and the history of the show). We never learned any of the names of the actors. Also a thought is purchasing a scanner to expedite acknowledging tickets; perhaps with a smoother process, the show would have started on time?"
"Awesome Historical Barn Style Theater With A Great Staff, Crew and Creatives! Amazing Intern Program!"
