"I don’t really know where to begin. Miserable experience. As you can see in the photos I got some pretty serious razor burn and an allergic reaction. When I got home my wife pointed out two or three spots where I had been nicked by the razor and there was visible blood. During the haircut when working around my ear he pushed it back hard, uncomfortably, and for longer than normal, leaving it red and hot. Twice he dropped something he was using on the floor and I’m not sure if he reused it or replaced it, but I’m starting to think he reused it. He was aggressive and quick with most of his hair clipper movements and left my neck feeling raw. The man who cut my hair, Arturo, didn’t greet me when I first walked in. After waving me over he proceeded to place his phone down in a viewing position with a YouTube or some video running. He had an AirPod in and paid little attention to me. He spoke Spanish to his pals there and didn’t utter almost a single word other than asking what I wanted done. Awful experience. Avoid going there!"

"So today after hearing nothing but good things about Starting Lineup Barber Shop i called and made an appointment to get my son a cut for his birthday. The guy i spoke to over the phone asked what time i wanted to come in, i told him 3:30, he asked what barber and i told him i had never been there but it was for my son, he told me Julio had an opening and that we’ll be scheduled with him. I came in at 3:30 and sat down, there was only 1 other person there that i later learned had already been cut. When i walked in not one barber acknowledged us or asked if we had an appointment. A few minutes goes by and another guy shows up, and then another, all of them were acknowledged yet its been atleast 20 minutes of me being there and i still have yet to be acknowledged. They all had a client in their seat so i figured once a client had left they would say something. 40 minutes goes by and i still have yet to be acknowledged by anyone there who now only 3 of the 5-6 barbers had someone in their chair. Another 10 minutes goes by and now im here for almost an hour and still have yet to be acknowledged. The barber i was sitting closest too finished with his client and stepped away for a minute , he came back to his station a few minutes later and goes to walk out and in spanish says “theres another one here but thats not my problem” and laughs and goes outside. I was beyond pissed at this point and just left. Every person that walked in after me was acknowledged and asked if they had an appointment. My brother in law called them to see what happened as he takes his son there alot and they told him i came in and didnt say anything so they didnt know why i was there. Isnt it your job as someone who works there to ask a customer if they have an appointment or what they’re there for? If the person doesnt speak up for whatever reason, why would you not bother to ask them what theyre there for? I was really looking forward to my son getting a cut from them but after my experience today i wont ever be back."
"I showed Antonny a Google image of the cut I was looking for, the fade and cut far exceeded my expectations. I was there for roughly 30 minutes, and what I can tell you, is that his attention to detail was OUTSTANDING! I will definitely be coming back!"
"Made an appointment for Saturday morning for my son to get a hair cut. My son has very thick hair and no one has ever given him a really great cut. I wanted to take him to a real Barber shop to get a good cut. We were greeted when we arrived and only waited for about 10 minutes. As my son was getting his cut, I was impressed with the work of the other barbers. David cut my sons hair and he did an awesome job! He was very meticulous. My son was also really happy with his cut....finally. David trimmed his brows too and they also look great. I WILL be going back with my son. I did read some of the negative reviews. I’m glad I did not read them before I went in because, it might have persuaded me not to go in. But, so glad we did. I told my husband he should go there to get his next cut and he said he would. Hopefully, moving forward we will continue to be happy with each visit!"
