"My new favorite restaurant! Went to Waxwing for the first time tonight. We shared the oysters, green salad, pasta Bolognese and Fluke special, chocolate torte, butterscotch pot de creme Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and delicious. Great craft cocktail options and wine. The atmosphere was very intimate, the music was great, the service was exceptional. Did I say the service was exceptional? We felt very attended to from the minute we walked through the door. Very welcoming."

"I had dinner there earlier tonight for my birthday. Service was top notch as usual and I had the duck, which was a special this evening, and it was phenomenal. I don't usually write reviews but this genuinely was one of the best meals I have ever eaten. I cannot recommend enough."

"Surprisingly comfortable ambiance on the inside of a not so plain ranch. Pros: Comfortable nook's, exceptional teamwork in the service area, as well as presentation and great food, with seasoning choices that enhance the main courses & just may make you swoon with each bite. Cons: French Pressed Coffee was lacking the aroma and taste it's known for. Slightly Overpriced, but appetizers and main course are fresh ingredients enhanced with flavorful and unique combinations. Desserts were mediocre at best definitely not the same magic found in appetizers or the main entree. A total skip with the coffee next time; but I would go again."

"Fantastic food and service. I travel quite a bit, all over the world for work and life - and eat out an insane amount. It's rare when a place is a memorable standout, Waxwing is one of the few. Cherry Bomb cocktail, pork belly app, caprese app and chicken schnitzel entree. All extremely well presented with well paired garnishes for texture and taste, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Whenever I find myself in the area I'll be sure to make a detour and stop for a meal."
