"Came here for the friendly family experience. 16 yr old autistic son and wanted to pick a place that he could beginning getting adult haircut environment. My son was frustrated with his coat and I quickly told him no big deal. The older gentleman in an unpleasant look on his face and unfriendly tone asked “ is he going to sit still if not I won’t cut him”. My son sits still but would ask often how soon until done. I said yes but the continued unfriendly look I became very uncomfortable and worried of what experience we would have for all. I was also embarrassed as another customer was in there and it was loudly asked of me. I have never felt ashamed of the type of child I had in any haircut place with my son. Everyone we had used was so sweet patient and encouraging with my son. This made me feel horrible inside. I would of been fine if he kindly said “hey mom we are quick in and out haircuts. I’m not sure we can give him the attention he may need “."
