"The ambiance and service are great! My husband loved the souvlaki chicken (it’s a small portion in our opinion) and I had the Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was very bland and when explaining to the waitress she was extremely accommodating and pleasant. I decided to eat the burger instead and it was full of flavor. Rachel was so sweet and accommodating. We will definitely be returning as we appreciate great service. Thank you."
"Gave it a try our last night in Hancock, menu looked promising. Have to say it was just ok. Had reservations and had to wait 15minutes past to get seated. We ordered steak frites and the steaks were warm not hot, says it come with BB sauce which was ok in flavor but they drowned the steaks in it. Wife paid $3 extra to have baked potato, it was terrible overcooked/dried out. Ordered a martini, came in a non martini glass and olives had pits which was not disclosed. Potential dental disaster.. Staff was friendly and service ok, somewhat understaffed given how busy it was. Atmosphere was not in alignment with the price. Was formerly Powder Hounds and interior hasn’t changed, that 70’s show and insanely loud. Would have thought they would at least Sheetrock the walls and put some acoustic tile in to reduce noise and update look to match prices but the owners decided to save a buck. The same furniture was still being used from Powder hounds with same junk wall decorations and fake plants. They recently opened so maybe they’ll improve but at their prices we’ll not come back as there are better choices just a short drive away."
"We happened upon this place while staying a week in The Berkshires in October 2023. It was definitely to our liking- The service is outstanding- the wait staff, the hosts and bartenders were all nice & helpful. The ambiance is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Depending on time of year or time of day, there is a charming outdoor seating area along the creek- The food is delicious and perfectly portioned. We liked it so much we had to go back a second time. The owner was there in the second evening and it was really fun getting to chat with her- we watched her visit each table greeting all the guests and talking about their experiences- 10/10 recommend."
"The newest concept from the Mezze group, this spot combines delicious flavors with good vibes. We started with the fried pickled red onions, which had a perfect balance of tang and crunch, while the fregola pasta salad was refreshing and tasty. For mains, we had the trout almondine (with or without the head) and a very flavorful grilled kefta with harissa (ground turkey with flatbread). For dessert, we had the berry cobbler which was a cherry on top so to speak! Excited to have another great spot added to the Berkshire food scene, where everyone will find a little something delicious!"
"If you’re looking for a great dinner in Hancock MA, this is the place! My husband and I ate at Bluebird tonight on a whim while visiting in the Berkshires for the weekend and it was such a great experience. The restaurant had just opened 3 days prior and I’m so impressed. Everything we ate was delicious and tasted so fresh. We got the bread and butter, shared the iceberg classic and I got the fried chicken cutlet while he got the steak. We both agreed it was the best chicken dish we’ve ever had. The atmosphere is lovely and our waitress was so personable and attentive. We were staying at Jiminy Peak Mountain right around the corner which was so convenient and I’m so glad we tried it out. We will be definitely going back on our trip next summer!!"
