Watson Fine Arts, located at 31 East Main Street in Norton, Massachusetts, is a vibrant institution that supports the performing, visual, and cultural arts at Wheaton College. Collaborating with various departments such as Music, Theatre & Dance, and Visual Art & History of Art, as well as programs in Creative Writing, Design, and Film & New Media Studies, Watson Fine Arts offers a diverse range of programming. Through the Evelyn Danzig Haas ’39 Visiting Artists Program, artists from different disciplines visit the campus to perform, teach, and conduct workshops for students and the wider community.

The majority of events at Watson Fine Arts are free, with online ticket purchasing available for select performances. Jessica F. Kuszaj serves as the Associate Director for Arts Events & Publicity, as well as the Associate Director for the Visiting Artist Program and Arts in the City. Kristina Kalogeras is the Technical Coordinator for the Arts.

Recent initiatives at Watson Fine Arts include the inaugural artists in residence program at the Beard and Weil Galleries, featuring creatives like Bláithín Haddad ’19 and UX designers Michele L’Heureux ’88 and Boon Sheridan ’94. The institution has also received a grant from Art Bridges to support inclusive initiatives in the galleries, promoting open discussion and positive movement toward a more equitable future.
