"I had the chicken parm with a side of rosemary and oil chips and wild berries soda. The chips and soda were the standout part of this meal. The chicken parm was okay, but lacked flavor. The ciabatta bread it was served on was soft and warm, which was great. The chicken, however, didn't taste like much. This place is small inside, though I did eat at the barstools they have facing the outside. You definitely couldn't bring a large group here, but it works for a small group or as takeout."
"We pick up lunch here often. Why go for fast food when you can have fresh homemade food from Italy! In the spring/summer, we sometimes eat on the tables out front, but most of the time it's takeout. Great variety, ALL fresh and homemade. Delicious bread and desserts too. We've also used them for catering (pickup). They also own Enzinos up the street. Delicious pizza and other foods."
"In the summertime- when the temperatures are high - you know it’s time for a classic Italian sub / sandwich… and that reminds you for Domenic’s. The local shop in Waltham that serves up some of the best Italian panini’s and subs. What is not to love about Domenic’s… you will be served in an Italian place in operation since 1979 … greeted by probably a Mexican/ Guatemalan… food prepared and served by a Mexican/ Brazilian, what a great multicultural experience. Coming to the food itself, my go to is the grand daddy of all the Dom’s special … it never disappoints. Also tried their caprese, which is also generally good, but I was not lucky today. Because of the inconsistency I am reducing my rating else it is always a pleasure at Domenic’s. “Buon Appetito” enjoy your meal !!"
"My first visit to this local gem. I asked the nice lady who took my order for vegetarian recommendations and appreciated her enthusiasm to help me pick 2 of her recommended paninis- the caprese and eggplant. Wow!! Delicious. I don’t think I have ever had such delicious paninis. Dreaming of my next visit. Thank you!"
"Before I start on the food, let me say this. There is nothing Italian about this place. It was all Spanish people working when I went there, so they are clearly following recipes. The food was good. The pizza was relatively really good, the meatballs were nothing crazy, and the chicken was decent but I liked the Italian the best. The prices were high for average food. I won’t drive out of my way again for it like I did this time to try it out, might not even try again if im in the area. $17 for the chicken that tasted like it’s been sitting in a steam table and couple slices of prociutto. The cheese was crumbly and old. Overall go someone else for half the price."
