"Jerk chicken is spicy and tender, amazing! Goat curry also delicious and not too spicy. A little fatty but that’s goat for you. Great conch chowder, just right in the amount of seasonings, conch and veggies, in a rich broth. Place is very casual inside, not like other MV restaurants, but in a good way. Adjacent to VFW bar, same building."
"I don’t know what I was expecting but the service and food was not satisfying at all. Standing at the front counter for over 10 minutes and had to yell for assistance. The food was surprisingly not good at all. My drumstick still had blood on it. The “authentic” jerk chicken was far from jerk chicken, basically cooked medium rare in gravy with no seasoning. Rice & peas were way too soggy. Beef patty was hard as a hockey puck. Usually carribean places are very welcoming with flavorful food. If you’re not going to have good service at least have delicious food or vice versa"
"Ok, so we spend a few day in MV and natucket. We were really dissapointed with food at the 7 restaurant we went for lunches and dinner. Not here. This is a gem of a place. Im glad its not superpacked like the other touristy places. They have more time to bring delicious food to your plates. On rop of that pricing was reasonable and service A+. If in MV please stop by and enjoy!"
"Ordered some food here during the MVAAFF and it was okay (overpriced and kinda bland) but they failed to tell us that there was already food available for festival guests which turned out to be significantly better that the cod fritters I had ordered. The fish was light and flaky, rice was well cooked and seasoned and the chicken was flavorful. Overall the plate saved the rating. The bartender ended up calling last call early cause she got annoyed and yelled at a customer so that was weird, especially for an event. Not sure if I'd return."
"Great food and away from the crowds on a busy July weekend made for a great brunch. The bartender at the adjacent VFW was super friendly too."
