"Been struggling to find hair salons that understand what I want my hair color to look like until I found spoke & weal. Elyse is truly amazing! I’ve gone twice and left satisfied every time. Also appreciate how there’s one price for “custom color” that usually doesn’t change regardless of what you want to do (unless it takes too long apparently, which mine never has). Not cheap but overall reasonable prices for Boston and very high quality results. They’re surprisingly very adept with Asian hair (and very dark hair)!"

"I recently got my hair cut and styled by Bella, an asst cut specialist, and I couldn't be happier. Bella asked me exactly what I wanted in a cut and delivered. She was very detailed and thorough, and explained the entire hair cutting process to me, i.e. dry cutting technique, types of products used for my particular hair, styling techniques, etc. Highly recommend!"

"Alessandra is absolutely worth every Penny. I have long dark thick hair and she knows I like mine to grow out nicely as well and both times I’ve received a cut/style it has been beyond my expectations. I always come prepared with a video or pictures and we chat and talk about what I need and how I wear my hair normally and she always gets it 100%. Went with my husband for my birthday because he has curly fine hair as well that needs a more professional cut and he was so happy. 12/10 will be back!"

"I recently went to Spoke & Weal on the recommendation of a trusted friend. After 17 years with my hair stylist it was time for me to make a change and I'm so happy that I did! I feel so lucky to have been introduced to Joanie, she is truly gifted and gave me an amazing haircut that I am getting continual compliments on. Joanie listened to my needs (after two kids my hair isn't as lush as it once was) and gave me a cut that created more density in my hair while keeping the length. The salon it self is beautiful and airy - full of light and wonderful and laid back staff. Definitely check it out and get an appointment with Joanie, she's the best!"
