"The theater is BEAUTIFUL. I grew up in Pittsfield and as a small child my dad & Mr Miller of Miller's Paint store showed me the forgotten theater. (Early 60's) It was like a haunted movie in my memories. The theater has come back to life with all its grace & splender. We saw Max Creek and they are amazing. It was a wonderful evening."
"Such a gem of a location. If you have not been here yet, make plans to go soon! Lots of various events year round. Very affordable and parking is plentiful nearby."
"Went to see the Beatlemania again show. We had great seats but again every seat is great. The music was spot on. They played songs from the early years from the ed Sullivan show , sergeant peppers, lonely, hearts, club band album, the help album and the later years. Their voices got better as the night went on and they interacted with the audience and got the whole theater involved with exuberance and clapping and dancing in their seats"
"The Colonial is a lovely theater with history and beautiful architecture. There's a newer addition and very modern restrooms. Limited parking us adjacent. Wine, soft beverages and snacks are available for a fee. Overall, really nice experience. I try to enjoy a show, annually, with my parents."
"Drove up from NYC to catch a buddy of mine in “Once” for the final day. This was my first musical and it didn’t disappoint. The theatre was beautiful and since I went on a Saturday, I was able to park for free in the lot right next to it. The theatre had plenty of clean bathrooms and the line for the bar moved quickly."
