Reviews of Subway
"cashier was so rude. i asked for pretzel bites and i was about to ask for another thing, but he rudely interrupted me. i asked if i could order another thing but he rolled his eyes at me, put up his pointer finger, and said “i will make those” before letting me finish my order. then he completely messed up the pretzel bites. how you mess those up is beyond me man. anyways so rude and you can tell they don’t get paid enough smh"
"It is abundantly clear that Subway doesn't care at all for their employees. They are not trained. A woman here began to yell at me and raise her voice at me when I was trying to tell her I wanted a #1 and a steak and cheese. The #1 is a Philly steak and I understand the confusion, but the other was a build-your-own. She got mixed up and started shouting at me asking what I wanted on the second one and I kept having to tell her a foot long Italian with steak and cheese and she kept shouting she'll handle the #1, now what do I want on the other one. Meanwhile, my other half was struggling with another employee who didn't know how to explain the prices and coupons while checking out. When I went to pay, I asked if it was okay if I scanned my rewards because I know that most employees, as I've experienced, don't know how to navigate around the rewards. I was sassed in a joking manner, "yeah, you can scan it, it's your rewards" which was not appropriate. If this is an attempt to lighten the mood, it missed the mark. Overall I think this would all be avoided if Subway cared at all about their employees. It is not worth it to work here and I pity those that do. Especially in a Gardner Walmart."
"The gentleman that made our subs was wearing a dirty sweatshirt and looked dirty. He was talking bad about the Gardner Subway location employees. Not a pleasant behind the counter experience."
"Ordered a wrap with extra steak today and The girl made it without mentioning or saying anything about how much the extra charge would be. after she makes my wrap she said she has to charge me for two wraps because I asked for extra steak and said it was because there was no button to add it on. ended up paying $15 for a $7 wrap definitely wasn’t worth $15 won’t be returning here rather a sub shop at that cost for the smallest wrap"
"The Indian guy clearly had a language barrier! Did not accept my coupon for it's value. It was not expired. That date is in March! He did not want to give me 50% off a sub equal or lesser value!!! I ordered 2 large subs, he said you must order 1 small and take 50% off of the $5.99 & proceeded to tell me what 50% off meant!!! Helloooo I learned % in 4th grade & know what half off of something means! Just terrible all around. Condiments were very poor quality & visibly needed to be restocked with fresh better quality produce. I won't return. But am not done with my rant!! Will be talking to corporate.. perhaps...it's a language barrier??!! Sorry I have no compassion for that either!! English is my first language.."
