"My very favorite barber (and shop) of all time…and I’m 80! Mindy has been in business a long time and just moved to a bigger place around the corner from her old shop…more room to wait inside and listen to the locals lively chatting with Mindy. Her place is very welcoming with her interesting collections scattered throughout and her giant dog awaiting attention. And…she’s a natural born barber who always gives me a great haircut…confirmed by my wife every time. Her prices are competitive, and there’s a senior discount! I look forward to my visits and don’t mind the wait if I do a walk-in instead of by appointment. Best of all - she’s a blast to be with."

"Mindy is hands down my favorite hair professional, of every single one I've had. I'm a woman with a very short cut, and I've never walked away happy every time I've gone somewhere before. Often I got good cuts interspersed with bad ones from the same person. Mindy makes me look good every time. Her prices are low, she works quickly, she's warm and kind and funny, she is a local fixture and knows everyone under the sun, or so it feels. If she were a bartender or ran a café, it would always be full of folks hoping to chat with her. The only challenge is that, because she's so good but there's only one of her, sometimes you need to wait a bit for a walk in appointment. She does offer booked appointments a few days a week though, so you can go that route."
